“Aano bhadraa krtavo yantu vishwatah; Let noble thoughts come from all sides;” This Rigvedic statement showcases the universal vision of the ancient Indian seers. A Vidhyarti, a seeker of knowledge should be guided to diverse forms of thinking in his academic endeavour by the Guru. It is here that journals with articles from various fields and modes of thought would add on to the intellectual excellence of an academic institute. True to the nature of the institute, Don Bosco Seminary publishes, Sapientia: Journal of Philosophy, Religion and Culture, a silver jubilee initiative of the seminary. Sapientia in Latin means wisdom, which incorporates both theoretical knowledge and skilled practice. The journal is a major milestone in the academic pursuit of our institute. This is being started as an annual, but intends to move on to be a biannual in the coming years.
