Report – Annual Debate – 5th October 2024

Don Bosco Seminary Aluva Philosophate organized its Annual Debate for Philosophy students on October 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Seminary Auditorium. The theme for the debate was, “The Use of Modern AI Enhances Student Learning.” The students were divided into two groups - one arguing in favor of the motion and the other against it. The panel of judges included Mr. Jose Abraham, a former professor, and Advocate Roshna Jerome. Fr. Edwin Kurishinkal served as the moderator. Both groups presented strong arguments, but the team opposing the motion was awarded for their excellent presentation and delivery. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes, followed by encouraging and appreciative remarks from the invited judges and the vote of thanks was proposed by Fr. Jose Alunkal the principal of the college.
