Inauguration of the missionary Sodality

Bl. Rani Maria Missionary Sodality was inaugurated on the 12th of July 2021. We were blessed with the presence of Bro. Jude, a previous student of Don Bosco Aluva who opted for mission ad gentes soon after his philosophical studies. Fr. Rector in his inaugural talk spoke about the importance of missionary charism in the salesian spirituality. The sodality was officially inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp. Bro. Jude shared his experiences as a young missionary in the Dominican Republic. There was also time for the students to interact with Jude to know more about the mission fields. The missionary sodality 2021-2022 consists of 12 members with Albin Joseph as the captain and Sherin Devassykutty as the secretary of the same. Fr. Jerin Palatty is the animator of the sodality. May Bl. Rani Maria intercede for us to ignite our missionary zeal so that many young minds may opt for mission lands.
