Don Bosco Youth Centre Membership Day

Don Bosco Youth Centre in Keezhmadu, Aluva, celebrated its membership day on August 15, 2024. The program began at 6.00 pm and was held in the Don Bosco Seminary Auditorium. The gathering was welcomed by Br. Bijo SDB, the director of the Youth Centre, Keezhmadu. Fr. Joy Kaipan, the Rector of Don Bosco Seminary, gave away the Presidential address. The formal gathering was blessed with the presences of the Fr. Paulson, the Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Church, and Mr. Assis, the Ward member. They felicitated the gathering. Master Joshua, the secretary of the Youth Centre read out the report of the Youth Centre of the previous year. Prizes were also distributed to children who excelled in various events and activities organized by the Youth Centre in the past year. The highlighting ceremony of the day was the oath taking ceremony wherein 100 members of the Youth Centre pledged their oath to the Don Bosco Youth Centre. The formal function had its culmination with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Nixon, the president of the Youth Centre. The formal gathering was followed by various cultural programs put up by the Youth Centre members and the brothers in Don Bosco Seminary. The Membership day program concluded at 9pm.
