Annual Debate - Uniform Civil Code contributes to India’s unity rather than division

On 18th October 2023, as part of the Academic programme the Don Bosco Seminary, Keezhmadu conducted the annual debate for. The topic of the debate was, “Uniform Civil Code contributes to India’s unity rather than division.” The participants were divided into two groups such as “for the motion” and “against the motion.” There were five elected speakers from both groups and they delivered their prepared speech for 6 minutes. After this followed the floor debate. The debate ended with the Rebuttal speech given by a representative from both the groups. The debate concluded with the sharing of observations and remarks given by the judges. The Judges adjudged the team who stood for the motion as the winners.
