INAUGURATION OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR

Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva commenced the academic year on the 1st of June 2022, in the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB, the provincial of the Sacred Heart Province of Bengaluru. The inaugural celebration began with the solemn Holy Eucharist (Mass of the Holy Spirit) at 9:30 am. At 11.15, the staff and students gathered in the auditorium for the inaugural ceremony of the academic year 2022-23. The ceremony started with the invocation of the Holy Spirit and the lighting of the lamp. Fr. Joy Kaipan, the Rector welcomed the gathering, Fr. Dilip Gnanaprakash, the Principal presented the academic report of 2021 and Fr Jose Koyical, the Provincial gave the keynote address and enunciated on the importance of post-novitiate formation and study of philosophy in the journey towards priesthood. The ceremony culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by Br. Santhosh, the practical trainee and professor at Don Bosco. The benevolent presence of the senior confreres of MMH made the ceremony more enriching and meaningful.
